FACULTY DEVELOPMENT

How We Support Our Faculty

We support and nurture our network of trainers in the following ways:

1. In partnership with Practising Law Institute, we offer Designing and Delivering Great Training at least twice a year - a two-day event, led by adult and legal education expert David Cruickshank, that demonstrates the art and science of effective training.

2. Before every in-person training, we hold a full-day 'Training of Trainers,' where every aspect of the upcoming training is prepared for and explored.

3. We provide extensive faculty binders that breakdown trainings session-by-session, activity-by-activity.

4. For online components of courses, we initiate faculty-only discussion forums and interactive webinars - so that trainers can learn from one another and prepare for upcoming activities as a group.

5. We always keep in touch! Many of our trainers have worked with us over several years and across different trainings - often playing a decisive role in finessing training materials and generating new content.
