Jon Curtis
Communications Manager
Hello all. I'm the Center for Legal Aid Education's Communications Manager... Or, in deference to the world of law's unmistakable penchant for abbreviations: CLAE's CM. I'm the last person who checks through our training and publicity materials - ideally in a measured and thoughtful way, but, more often than not, with printer deadlines fast approaching and last minute notes telling me that that handwritten 'e' I read last week was actually an 'a'. All of which is to say, if you find a typo on page 348 of your Basic Lawyering Skills manual, don't fight that urge to tell someone - tell me. I really won't take offense!
Anyhow, before arriving here at CLAE, I went to grad school in Boston, where, among other things, I met my wife Jackie. A not-at-all long-suffering Red Sox fan, I used to enjoy living a couple of Big Papi home runs away from Fenway Park, but now reside in the calmer and quieter Fresh Ponds area of Cambridge. I can no longer listen to the Yankees getting beat out my window, but, of course, there's always NESN.
