Essential Skills for Legal Aid Supervisors Online
Essential Skills for Legal Aid Supervisors Online provides an introduction to the organizational systems and skills necessary to oversee and guide the work of legal aid program staff. Geared for experienced, new and aspiring legal aid supervisors, the Consortium’s new web-based Supervision Skills course addresses the three key roles of legal aid supervisors – in areas of training, quality and support – and a range of concepts and skills related to each. Through a combination of presentation and small group discussions, participants examine necessary systems to support effective supervision, practice applying tools to assess and respond to individual supervisees’ supervision and professional development needs, and in the final week, practice preparing for and providing constructive feedback.
There is no registration fee for Consortium Members. To learn more, see the course syllabus and calendar of online activities.
