In New England, especially, we are delighted to have a full and varied slate of upcoming trainings. From our ever-popular two-day Designing and Delivering Great Training to our month-long Affirmative Litigation - via much else in between - we hope to have your training needs covered. In Memoriam: Shari Zimble

It is with great sadness that we let you know that our beloved colleague, Shari Zimble, died on Thursday, October 23 after a long battle with cancer. Shari's contributions to the national legal aid community and to the thousands of low-income clients they serve are inestimable. Her legacy will continue to inspire legal aid advocates throughout New England and across the country. And for those of us who had the privilege to work with her and to delight in her friendship and the warmth and generosity of her spirit, we will miss her deeply.

Trial Skills Training a Great Success

Hosted, for the very first time, by Boston University School of Law, we are pleased to announce the successful completion of our latest Trial Skills training (June 2008). In new surroundings, and with over thirty participants from across New England and 24 distinguished volunteer faculty members (comprising an impressive array of fellows from the American College of Trial Lawyers, as well as leading legal aid attorneys), it proved to be a decisive and memorable event for everyone involved.
