Fundamentals of Attorneys' Fees

Fundamentals of Attorneys’ Fees, presented by Jim Breslauer, Neighborhood Legal Services and Shelley White, New Haven Legal Assistance, provided a basic introduction to attorneys’ fees including how to: identify cases in which attorney’s fees are recoverable; identify statutes and court rules that entitle their clients to recover attorneys’ fees; effectively counsel clients regarding attorneys’ fees and how fees will impact their cases; and, effectively write a fee petition.
