MIE's Supervising Legal Work
With our community always facing significant recruitment and retention challenges, strong supervision and management skills are a must. This specially targeted Supervising Legal Work training meets these challenges head-on, outlining effective strategies for maximizing staff potential and skill-sets - in a real life legal services context. Make giving feedback a more potent tool; further cultivate the professional development of new advocates; develop new management approaches that recognize the intricacies of legal work - all of this and more, from a training designed to benefit not just those attending, but all of their colleagues as well.
About the MIE/CLAE partnership:
The Center for Legal Aid Education is delighted to offer, for the first time, a training event in partnership with the Management Information Exchange, a fellow Boston-based nonprofit organization. MIE serves over 300 subscriber programs across the country that provide legal representation, advice and information to low income clients. Its mission is to spark excellence in leadership, management and fundraising in legal services. We look forward to a successful and enduring partnership.
